Three Phase Outdoor Epoxy-resin Casting Type Combined Transformer

Combination transformer is a type of power equipment mainly used to convert high voltage or high current into standard low voltage or standard small current, in order to standardize and miniaturize measuring instruments, protection equipment, and automatic control equipment. It consists of current transformers and voltage transformers, which can reduce high voltage and high current to a level suitable for measurement according to the needs of the power system. The design features of combined transformers include oil-free, miniaturized, high reliability, and maintenance free. For example, the JLSZ-10 high-voltage combination transformer adopts epoxy resin insulation and high-voltage epoxy resin fully enclosed vacuum casting, which improves the insulation performance and safety of the equipment. In addition, the secondary wires and cables of the combined transformer are connected using lead sealed junction boxes, which have anti-theft functions and are also convenient for on-site verification.

Combined transformers include various types such as ordinary current transformers, through type current transformers, multi tap current transformers, and current transformers with different transformation ratios. A regular current transformer consists of a primary winding, a secondary winding, an iron core and frame, a housing, wiring terminals, etc. Its working principle is similar to that of a transformer. A through type current transformer does not have a primary winding, and generates magnetic flux through a wire passing through the iron core, thereby generating a secondary current. Multi tap current transformers obtain multiple different transformation ratios by adding multiple taps to meet the demands of different load currents. Current transformers with different transformation ratios provide multiple independent windings to meet the needs of different transformation ratios and accuracy levels.

Combined transformers are widely used in energy metering, measurement, and protection in power systems. For example, in 10kV power lines and branch lines, combined transformers are used for line loss assessment and for measuring electrical energy on the high-voltage side branch lines of power transformers. In addition, there is a specially designed high-voltage metering box (combined transformer), which is mainly composed of a combined transformer and an electricity meter box. It has the advantages of high measurement accuracy, light weight, easy installation, and anti electricity theft.
